Women prefer well -groomed men. Hi, I’m Clarissa with Our Doctor and I’d like to share some important facts why you need to be groomed. In a recent survey of a hundred women, all a hundred women preferred men either clean shaven or with a well -groomed beard.

I’m pretty sure this goes for nose hair and ear hair as well. So men pay attention and let’s get you the facts you need to get groomed and attract the other sex. Statistics show that women perceive men with facial hair to be more attractive as well as physically and socially dominant.

Women tend to associate more masculine faces with physical strength, social assertiveness, and formidability. Women also prefer facial hair to be thick, which shows a man’s dominance, but they’ll also appear older in which some women are more attracted to.

A sharp appearance adds additional self -confidence to men who are seeking a new relationship or are looking to impress that special someone. For those who have trouble growing facial hair, know that you’re not alone.

According to Quora, studies have shown that up to 50% of men have difficulty growing facial hair. There are many reasons why this may be the case, from genetic factors to simple changes in hormone levels.

If your levels of testosterone are low, you may want to consider treatments which may also help with your sex drive. Now let’s talk about your nose hair and what causes it. In general, aging is the most common cause of nose hair, and it grows long and thick.

This is because your hair follicles grow in cycles as you get older. This is known as anagen sensitivity, which means that follicles become more sensitive to the hormones in your body. These tiny hairs are called cilia, which constantly wave back and forth as you breathe.

Their job is to catch dangerous particles in the mucus. One question I get asked is, does trimming your nose hair put you at risk of respiratory infections? The answer to this is no. Also, nose hairs can act as a filter to prevent dust, pollen, and allergens from entering your lungs.

nose hairs should consider trimming because larger particles can get trapped in the hair which may get you sick. Ear hair works similar to those that your nose does as a filter for your body. In general, hair on the outer sides of the ear towards the lobe comes with age as well.

Ear hair or bella’s hair prevents dirt and debris from entering the eardrum. Now farther inside the ear there are tiny hairs that help you hear and keep your balance. They live in the canals full of fluid and when you move this fluid moves with you.

But now that you know this, what are you going to do about it? Laser hair removal treatments are done at various aesthetic clinics but there are also treatments that can be done from your home in a similar fashion.

During this process a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment melanin in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat which damages the tube shaped sacs which shrink that produces the hair.

This damage inhibits and should delay any future hair growth. Please know these treatments can be quite costly and not always permanent. There are also hair removal creams that can be purchased by a prescription or over the counter which seems to work well, but make sure they are designed for your sex and are safe to use on the body part you are seeking to remove the unwanted hair.

You may also want to check with your primary care physician or dermatologist before using. Lastly, you may want to consider using an all -in -one shaver or a groom kit like the one seen here, or locate a similar type of trimming device on Amazon or at Walmart that can clip all your unwanted body hair including those pesky nose, pubic, and ear hairs.
